THE MAN WHO WOULD BE SECOND

a documentary by Ramón Alòs

It is the extraordinary story of a mystery tied to Segundo de Chomón, one of the pioneers of the seventh art. Master of tricks and visual effects of films that have marked the dawn of cinema like the colossal Cabiria by Giovanni Pastrone (1914) or Napoleon of Abel Gance (1927). Chomón was an avant-garde artist for cinematic techniques charged with innovation that hit the collective imagery in the early twentieth century.
